Summer at The Dome
This is the trailer for my MFA thesis film, Summer at the Dome. Summer at The Dome tells the stories of the 2010 Craig Cromwell League in Baltimore City. Hosted each year by the Madison Square Recreation Center (nicknamed “The Dome”) and funded by nearby Johns Hopkins Hospital, the league features the city’s top high school basketball teams each summer. Run by former St. Frances coach William Wells, the league is now in it’s 25th year and plays host to eight boys teams and six girls teams. Named after Craig Cromwell, a former athlete of Wells’ killed while walking home from practice, the league serves as a bright spot in the rough and tough community of East Baltimore. I wrote, produced, shot, edited and did graphics for the film.
Cook Off!
Cook Off! is a segment from the Emmy Award winning program Eco-Views: Life on the Chesapeake. Part of Chesapeake Bay Week (2010) on Maryland Public Television, the project was part of my Environmental and Wildlife Film Production Course. Working with two other producers and Maryland Public Television, I pitched, produced, filmed, and edited this segment.
